Susan Benedict

Susan Benedict is the current Chief Human Resources Officer and Assistant General Counsel at Stoneridge. Prior to their current role, they served as the Digital Customer Experience Leader, Product Management, Group Benefits at The Hartford from January 2017 to December 2019. In this role, they were responsible for the development and execution of the digital strategy, delivering innovative and enhanced digital customer experiences. Benedict also facilitated the development and delivery of the digital road map, including digital analytics, channel containment, voice of customer (VOC) capabilities and rigor. Furthermore, Benedict led a team of digital product owners who leveraged Agile development methodology.

Before their time at The Hartford, Benedict served as the AVP, Digital Marketing & Sales at The Hanover Insurance Group from January 2006 to December 2017. In this role, they were the principal driver of CRM and digital marketing strategies, product/platform, tools and analytics to support Corporate and business unit growth objectives for the sales organization. Benedict managed a team of Salesforce Developers, Administrators, Digital Marketers and Data Analysts.

Susan Benedict completed their undergraduate degree in finance and economics at Framingham State University.
