Marc Leppard

Marc Leppard is currently a Senior Adviser at StoneTurn. Prior to that, they worked as the Global Head of Business Integrity and Head of Ethics and Compliance at bp. In this role, they were responsible for promoting best ethical practices across BP internationally and developing ethics and compliance programs. Marc also advised the C-Suite and PLC Board Risk Committees on ethical conduct issues.

Leppard has also worked as an expert advisor for the European Commission on financial services market infrastructures. In this role, they were part of an expert group that advised the European Commission on financial services market infrastructures leading to a report that was issued in October 2011.

Prior to their work with the European Commission, Leppard worked for TANGLEWOOD CORPORATE INTEGRITY LIMITED, 3 Lines of Defence Consulting Ltd, and Greyhawk Intelligence Group.

Marc Leppard has a Masters in Politics and Administration from Birkbeck, University of London, as well as a BA in Theirtory and International Relations from North Staffordshire Polytechnic. Marc also has certification from In Touch Networks in their In touch programme for non-executive directors, as well as certification from iHASCO eLearning in Safeguarding Adults (Level 2) and Safeguarding Children (Level 2). Finally, they have certification from the Financial Conduct Authority in Approved Person (CF10 - Compliance Oversight, CF29 - Significant Management).
