Craig Hymowitz

Craig Hymowitz serves as the Assistant General Counsel at StoneX Group Inc. since December 2017, where responsibilities include leading Financial Crime and Anti-Money Laundering Compliance, managing litigation, and advising the Human Resources department. Hymowitz is also a Board Member and former Co-Chair of the ACAMS Alabama Chapter, contributing to presentations such as the 2019 AL SAR Conference. Prior experience includes roles at Rumberger, Kirk & Caldwell focusing on anti-money laundering compliance, General Counsel at COR Clearing LLC overseeing legal and regulatory obligations, and Senior Vice President at Sterne Agee with a focus on compliance and litigation management. Hymowitz's legal career began at Blank Rome, LLP as a Partner specializing in compliance and government contracting, following a clerkship with the U.S. Court of Federal Claims. An investigative reporter in an earlier fellowship, Hymowitz earned a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School and a Bachelor of Arts from Cornell University.
