Carl Drautz

Carl Drautz is an experienced professional with a diverse background in education, business development, and leadership. Currently self-employed and retired, Carl serves as an Educator Coach and mentor for DSM Public Schools and Johnston Public Schools. As the Director of New Business Development at Laser Resources - LRI, Carl focuses on expanding sales efforts, while also holding the position of Business Development Manager at Stoney Creek Hotels, where responsibilities include identifying sales leads in the Missouri area. Previously, Carl was the General Manager at Stoney Creek Hotels, overseeing operations and promoting positive work environments. With a strong foundation in education, Carl taught high school Spanish and coached multiple sports at Des Moines Public Schools. Carl’s career also includes a strategic role as Senior Vice President of Sales and Shareholder at Holmes Murphy & Associates, leading sales teams and setting targets. Carl's educational background includes graduate work at Drake University and a Bachelor's degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Augustana University.
