Daniel Manley, MLS, has extensive experience in fire investigation, emergency management, and education. Since January 2004, Daniel has served as an adjunct instructor and lecturer at Fayetteville Technical Community College, specializing in Fire, EMS, and Hazmat. Daniel's role as a certified fire investigator at the County Sheriff Office began in 2015, complemented by previous experience in fire investigation at the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office from 2009 to 2014. Daniel has held significant positions such as Special Project Manager at Stoney Point Fire Department since 1994 and Captain at Fort Bragg Fire and Emergency Services from 2008 to 2018, where responsibilities included Hazmat coordination. Daniel's career began with the US Army's 82nd Airborne Division, where engagements included inventory and executive protection. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Public Administration from Fort Hays State University and a Bachelor's in Fire Science/Investigations from Fayetteville State University.

Stoney Point Fire Department

The Stoney Point Volunteer Fire Department was founded in 1964 and proudly serves not only our community, but also the City of Fayetteville, the town of Hope Mills, and surrounding counties. We are a full-service provider and deliver emergency medical, rescue and fire protection services. Our department is internationally accredited with the Commission on Fire Accreditation International (CFAI), achieving initial accreditation in 2012 and re-accredited in 2017. Stoney Point is currently one of only two volunteer fire departments in the United States listed on the Commission on Fire Accreditation International (CFAI) Accredited Fire/Rescue Agencies Web site.
