Ben Ilg

Benjamin Ilg is an accomplished professional in sports management with extensive experience in athletics operations and event management. Currently serving as the Manager of Events at Stony Brook Athletics since August 2019, Benjamin previously held the position of Athletics Equipment/Operations Manager at Assumption College from June 2016 to March 2022. Additional experience includes roles as a Sports Communication/Media Relations Assistant at the University of Rhode Island and multiple internships within athletic departments at Worcester Polytechnic Institute and The College of Holy Cross. Benjamin's career began with an internship at Assumption College where collaboration with athletic administrators provided valuable insights into various departmental functions. Benjamin holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Sport Management from Nichols College, obtained in 2015.
