Sherif Abdel-Misih

Sherif Abdel-Misih has extensive work experience in the field of surgery. Sherif is currently working at Stony Brook Medicine as the Program Director for the General Surgery Residency program and as an Associate Professor of Surgery. Prior to that, they worked at the Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center-James Cancer Hospital & Solove Research Institute as a Physician for nine years. Before that, they were a Surgery Fellow at the same institution. Sherif also has experience as a General Surgery Resident at the Cleveland Clinic.

Sherif Abdel-Misih obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in biology/psychology from Franklin & Marshall College in 1997. Sherif then pursued their Doctorate of Medicine (MD) at Thomas Jefferson University from 1999 to 2003, specializing in medicine.
