Taryn Schwarz

Taryn Schwarz, MS, currently serves as the Interim Administrative Director of Anatomic Pathology and Quality Systems Manager for the Department of Laboratories at Stony Brook Medicine since October 2020, overseeing regulatory compliance and quality improvement initiatives. Prior experience includes a tenure as Quality Assurance Officer and Sentinel Laboratory Training Coordinator at the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene from November 2014 to October 2020, and roles as a City Research Scientist II and Microbiology Intern. Taryn holds a Master of Science degree in Microbiology from Wagner College and a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Stony Brook University.
