Cassandra Amadio

Cassandra Amadio, CPA, currently serves as the Assistant Vice President and University Controller at Stony Brook University since May 2023. Previously, Cassandra was with Indiana University Bloomington for over a decade, holding positions including Associate Controller, University Chief Accountant, and University Tax Director, where responsibilities included ensuring tax compliance across various areas with a team of 10 and overseeing tax liabilities totaling $620 million. Additional experience includes working as a Senior Tax Compliance Officer and Adjunct Lecturer at the Kelley School of Business, as well as earlier roles at Greenwalt CPAs, Inc., and Vera Bradley. Cassandra holds a Master’s degree in Strategic Management and an M.B.A. from the Kelley School of Business, along with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from Manchester University, complemented by a study period at Université Marc Bloch.
