Cassandra Genua

Cassandra Genua serves as the Medicine Media Relations Coordinator at Stony Brook University since February 2020, where responsibilities include booking experts for media engagements, writing press materials, and developing crisis communication strategies. Previous experience includes roles as a Producer and Associate Producer at News 12 Networks, overseeing content production and editorial decisions. Cassandra also has a background in sales and customer service with Aldo Group, alongside various production internships at ABC News and GIGANTIC! Productions. An alumnus of Buffalo State University with a Master of Science in Public Relations, and a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcasting and Communications from SUNY Oswego, Cassandra has cultivated expertise in media relations and communications.
