Trista Y. Lu

Trista Y. Lu currently serves as the Assistant Director of International Student Success and Interim Director of the China Center at Stony Brook University, where responsibilities include planning and executing extensive orientation programs for thousands of international students and collaborating on pre-orientation initiatives in China. Previous roles at LIU Post encompassed graduate assistant positions focused on campus life and international student services, where Trista organized orientation programs, student training, and cultural events. Trista has also gained experience as a mental health counseling intern, supporting individual students and developing counseling programs. With a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Long Island University, Trista is dedicated to enhancing the experiences and support systems for international students.
