Dan O'Shea

Dan O'Shea is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in security and defense. As a Strategic Advisor at Stony Lonesome Group LLC since October 2023, O'Shea contributes expertise in strategic planning. In addition, O'Shea has served on the Board of Directors for New York State for Veterans, Inc. since 2013, focusing on employment assistance for veterans. With a role as a Research and Practice Associate at Syracuse University since April 2013, O'Shea collaborates on homeland security and counterterrorism projects. As Principal Owner of Daniel Risk Mitigation since July 2006, the focus is on personal security in high-risk environments. O'Shea is also a Fellow at the Center for Advanced Defense Studies and co-founder of the Tampa Bay Frogman Swim, a fundraiser for the Navy SEAL Foundation.
