Christopher Harman

Partner at Stonybrook Capital

Mr.Harman joined Stonybrook Capital as a Partner following over 45 years of working in Lloyd’s. Prior to Stonybrook, Mr. Harman was managing director and deputy chairman of Harman Wicks & Swayne Group (HWS) before it was sold to JLT in 2008. He then held various positions at JLT Re prior to the MMC acquisition of its parent earlier this year. He separately continued as a director of Harman Kemp North America, which was not part of the JLT transaction in 2008, and remained an independent Lloyd’s broker with a focus on US binding authority business. Harman had held directorships at Winchester Bowring and AG Winchester before HWS was launched in 1988. He has also been a working member on the Lloyd’s Council.
