Annalisa Belliss is a Program Manager in Food Waste Reduction at StopWaste, with experience dating back to September 2013. In this role, Annalisa integrates regenerative approaches to develop resource conservation programs aimed at enhancing the local food system in Alameda County, including supporting the implementation of Edible Food Recovery laws. Previous positions at StopWaste include Senior Program Services Specialist, Food Waste Reduction Specialist, and Food Waste Reduction Associate, focusing on initiatives to prevent food waste and educate various stakeholders. Annalisa's earlier experiences include outreach for the Sierra Club, serving as a Municipal Climate Intern for the San Francisco Department of the Environment, and coordinating volunteers at Food Shift. Annalisa holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from UC Santa Barbara and has participated in a summer program on Gender Studies at the University of Cambridge.
