Auli Kuulasmaa

Auli Kuulasmaa has over 17 years of experience in various finance and IT roles. Auli is currently the Director of IT Controlling at Stora Enso, where they lead a team of four controllers/analysts and supports the Group IT organization. Auli'sresponsibilities include monitoring financial performance, driving forecasting and analysis processes, and providing ad-hoc support. Prior to this, Auli worked as a Senior Business Controller and Senior Project Controller in the IT & Digitalisation division at Stora Enso.

Before joining Stora Enso, Auli worked at BearingPoint as a Manager and Senior Consultant in the field of Financial and Performance Management. Auli'srole involved leading process improvements, complex integrations, and planning and forecasting system implementations. Auli also worked on strategic advisory projects for both public and private sectors. At Basware Oyj and BasWare, they worked as a Solution Consultant, focusing on implementation projects related to financial management and reporting tools.

Auli started their career at Konecranes, where they wrote their Master's Thesis on management reporting practices in a global matrix organization. Auli also worked as an Assistant Controller and Summer Trainee in the finance department at Hämeenlinna factory, preparing production and sales reports. Additionally, Auli served as a Course Assistant at Tampere University of Technology, instructing practice sessions and assisting with exams.

Auli Kuulasmaa completed a Master of Science degree in Industrial Management and Engineering from Tampere University of Technology between 2003 and 2008. Auli also participated in an exchange program at Université catholique de Louvain in 2005, focusing on Industrial Management. Prior to that, they obtained a Matriculation examination degree from Hämeenlinnan lyseon lukio from 1999 to 2003. Auli has also obtained additional certifications including Apptio Certified Practitioner: ApptioOne from Apptio, FOCP: FinOps Certified Practitioner from The Linux Foundation, and Certified Technology Business Management Executive (CTBME) from Technology Business Management (TBM) Council, all in 2022.
