Ilari Valkeinen

Ilari Valkeinen has a strong background in sourcing, purchasing, and procurement. Ilari started their career in 1992 as a Purchasing Manager at Enso Oyj. Ilari then joined Stora Enso in 2000 as the Director of Purchasing, where they served for 12 years until 2012. During their time at Stora Enso, they were promoted to Vice President of Global Sourcing and held the position for five years. In 2017, Ilari became the Vice President of Sourcing at Stora Enso, where they currently work.

Ilari Valkeinen obtained a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering from LUT University in 1990. Prior to that, they attended vesivallin lukio karhula from 1981 to 1983 and vesivallin lukio from 1981 to 1984. Later, they pursued an MBA from Oulu Business School, University of Oulu, graduating in 1998. In 2016, they completed a diploma program in Global Supply Chain from Aalto University Executive Education and Professional Development.
