Janne Mäkeläinen

Janne Matilainen is a seasoned professional in creative direction and product development, currently serving as Creative Director at PiKL Worldwide since May 2023. As a Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer at Gigle, Janne has focused on digitizing and modernizing live performance management through a white label SaaS product since September 2016. Previous experience includes Creative Director at Playforia Inc, where Janne contributed to the development of successful games and content, achieving over 1 million monthly active users. As Co-Founder and Creative Director at Apaja Creative Solutions, Janne developed the popular online game service Aapeli, recognized as the second best-known brand among Finnish youth. Early career highlights include serving as Art Director at Saunalahti Oyj / Jippii Group Oyj, where Janne's contributions included establishing one of Finland's most popular websites and creating early mobile phone logos and online comics. Janne Matilainen holds a degree from Metropolia University of Applied Sciences.
