Marcos Wichert - Msc

Marcos Wichert holds an MSc in Forestry Science and an MBA, along with a Board Readiness Diploma in Business Administration and Management. Currently serving as Vice President of Plantation Forest and Sustainability Management at Stora Enso since August 2020, Marcos also contributes as an Alternate Board Director for the International Sustainable Forestry Coalition and is a member of the Executive Committee and Forest Support Group at Montes del Plata and Veracel Celulose S/A. Additional roles include Deputy Coordinator at the International Union of Forest Research Organizations and past positions in various organizations focused on forestry management and mechanization. Marcos’s extensive experience encompasses strategic, technical, and financial aspects of forestry, underscored by leadership roles in multiple influential committees and organizations within the industry.
