Matias Hietanen

Matias Hietanen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in technology, operations, and maintenance management within the pulp and paper industry. Currently serving as Technology & Investment Manager at Stora Enso since January 2018, Matias has also held roles as Reliability Manager and Operations Manager. Prior experience includes Maintenance Service Manager at Efora Oy, where responsibilities included managing maintenance and repair for various machines, and Maintenance Manager at ABB, overseeing a movable maintenance resource team for several industrial companies. Matias began their career as a Production Engineer at M-real and Myllykoski Paper, focusing on production development and shutdown planning. Matias holds a Master of Science degree in Chemical Technology from LUT University.
