Tuomas Mustonen

Tuomas Mustonen has extensive work experience in the field of sourcing, logistics, and strategy execution. Tuomas has held various leadership positions at Stora Enso, including Senior Vice President of Strategy Execution, Senior Vice President of Performance, Controlling, and Strategy, and Interim Executive Vice President of Sourcing and Logistics. In these roles, they have managed large teams of professionals and has been responsible for function strategy, performance controlling, budgeting, and cost controlling. Tuomas has also led strategic projects and organizational restructuring initiatives. Prior to their time at Stora Enso, Tuomas has held roles in finance, sales support, and customer service. Additionally, they have served on the Board of Directors for Steveco Oy, DanFiber A/S, and VLAR Papier NV, all companies with ownership connections to Stora Enso.

Tuomas Mustonen received their Master of Science degree in Industrial Engineering & Management from Tampere University of Technology in Finland from 1998 to 2002. In 2019, they completed the International Executive Program - TIO at Stockholm School of Economics with a focus on Business Administration and Management. In 2015, Tuomas obtained a Diploma in Global Sourcing from Aalto University Professional Development - Aalto PRO. Additionally, they participated in the IMD Pathfinder leadership program at IMD in 2011 and 2012. Lastly, they completed the Stora Enso Manager Program (SEMP), an in-house management program, from 2008 to 2009.
