Lise Nyrop

Lise Nyrop has extensive experience in human resources, with their most recent role being the Global Human Resources Director at StorageMart since August 2018. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Human Resources at StorageMart starting in May 2017. In this role, they were responsible for strategic planning in areas such as employee engagement, recruitment, retention, and training.

Before joining StorageMart, Lise worked as the Director of Human Resources at Missouri Farm Bureau from February 2016 to May 2017. Lise'sresponsibilities included policy development and interpretation, employee relations, training, and employee engagement.

Lise also worked at ABC Laboratories as the Senior Manager of Human Resources from February 2011 to February 2016. In this role, they oversaw non-technical training and development, recruitment, and administrative group staff. Lise collaborated with senior leadership to develop strategies, policies, and procedures supporting corporate objectives.

Lise started their career at the State of Missouri in May 2007 as an HR Manager. Lise was responsible for policy development, employee relations, staff recruitment, training, compensation studies, and special projects. Lise supervised a team of four staff members and oversaw various divisions and employees.

Lise'searliest known work experience was at MU, where they worked as a Manager of HR. Lise joined in 1996 and held the position until 2007. Lise'sresponsibilities included supervising staff, handling special projects, recruiting, employee relations, classification and compensation, policy interpretation, training, and investigating allegations of discrimination.

Lise Nyrop completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Literature/Theater from William & Mary in the years 1978 to 1982. After that, they pursued a Juris Doctor (JD) degree in Dispute Resolution from the University of Missouri-Columbia, School of Law from 1998 to 2004. In 2011, Lise Nyrop obtained a certification in SPHR from the Society for Human Resources Management.
