About the HRBP

The HRBP is a thought partner and strategic advisor to the local business. With a consultative approach, the partner is a solutions-driven leader and a team advocate. The HRBP is a conduit to and from the center of the people team, focusing on strategic areas of the business including compensation, growth planning, hiring and retention, career development, employee relations, performance management, and continuous improvement of people programs. With a proactive, data-driven approach to all things People, they “make things happen” for each business leader they support driving North Star priorities.

What You’ll Do: 

  • Serve as a strategic thought partner on all people best-in-class strategies and initiatives centered around operations, labor management, and strategic priorities.
  • Develop and/or improve policies to ensure optimum, consistent operations in each building including attendance policies, employee handbooks, security policies, management training, and other initiatives for continuous improvement. 
  • Anticipate business needs, think proactively, and respond quickly and appropriately. 
  • Work hand-in-hand with local leadership to drive business priorities while also upholding the People strategy.
  • Coach, develop and guide local People Operations Generalists as empowered advocate for local concerns and issues, seeking opportunities for improvement with you as their escalation point.
  • Advise People Operations Generalist on sensitive work-related issues in the areas of conflict resolution, performance management, interpretation of company policy, culture and values, job mapping, leave accommodations, and other employment-related topics with an emphasis on self-advocacy (with you as their escalation and support).
  • Advise local leadership on best practices and recommended approaches for leveraging our tools and people processes to maximize employee performance, achieve organizational effectiveness, improve employee engagement and ensure legal compliance. Empower People Operations Generalist in local execution of these initiatives. 
  • Analyze people data and understand trends to proactively provide solutions that support our business objectives, adherence to policy and cultural values.
  • Develop and host employee events to promote an inclusive environment that is engaging, enabling and energizing, and one where our associates can thrive.

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Master’s Degree or advanced certifications (e.g., SHRM-SCP, PHR) may be preferred.
  • 3-7 years of experience in Human Resources, with a focus on business partnering, talent management, or employee relations.
  • Proficiency in HR software and tools, such as HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, Rippling), and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proven experience in strategic HR roles within a Supply Chain / Logistics company, with Start-Up experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in HR metrics, data analysis, and using insights to drive decisions.
  • Experience in leading HR projects and initiatives, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adapt to changing business needs.
