Alex McElyea brings 20 years of experience in creating data-driven organizational culture; using data insights and advanced analytics to develop decision systems focused on growth and optimization. He joined STORE in 2021 with the focus of utilizing STORE’s data assets to optimize shareholder returns and now serves as Executive Vice President of Data, Analytics, and Business Strategy.
Prior to joining STORE, Alex spent four years with OneAZ Credit Union, most recently as Chief Data Analytics Officer. During his tenure at OneAZ Credit Union, he was responsible for leading the development of the enterprise analytics and business intelligence platform and resulting strategies that contributed to over $1 billion in asset growth. Prior to that, Alex lead the marketing analytics team at American Express focused on the US loyalty marketing platform with over 50 million customers.
Alex earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from Arizona State University and an MBA from Arizona State University W.P. Carey School of Business.
