Dan Loonam

Dan Loonam has a diverse and extensive background in finance and real estate. Dan currently serves as the Managing Director - Acquisitions at STORE Capital, a position they have held since November 2021. Prior to this, they worked at BB Living Residential as a Land Acquisitions specialist from April 2021 to November 2021.

Dan also has experience at STORE Capital, where they held multiple roles from 2019 to 2021. Dan started as a Credit Analyst in June 2019 and then transitioned to an Underwriter role in January 2020. In June 2020, they were promoted to the position of Senior Underwriter, which they held until April 2021.

Before their tenure at STORE Capital, Dan worked as an Investment Analyst at Puritan Life Insurance Company of America (PLICA) from May 2017 to May 2019. In this role, they conducted investment research and contributed to business development efforts for the company's real estate lending portfolio.

Additionally, Dan gained experience through internships at Aetna, where they worked as a Finance Intern in 2018, and at Kirkpatrick for Senate, where they served as a Finance Intern in 2016. Dan also worked as a Consultant at Rincon Partners for a brief period in 2016, performing lease audits and due diligence for real estate acquisitions.

Dan's early experience includes serving as the Fundraising Chair for Global Brigades, Inc. from August 2015 to May 2016. In this role, they coordinated fundraising initiatives and provided guidance for a humanitarian service trip to Nicaragua.

Throughout their career, Dan has demonstrated their skills in finance, underwriting, acquisitions, and fundraising. Their experience spans various industries, including real estate, insurance, and politics, showcasing their versatility in different professional settings.

Dan Loonam attended Arizona State University from 2015 to 2019, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance with a focus on General Finance and Data Analytics. During their time at the university, they were also enrolled in Barrett, The Honors College, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree. Additionally, Dan has obtained a certification in Bloomberg Market Concepts from Bloomberg LP.
