Bryan Mangelson

Bryan Mangelson has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Bryan is currently serving as the Vice President of Finance and Operations at Storj, a position they started in March 2022. Prior to this, they were the Co-founder and CFO/COO at CrowdStorage, which was later acquired by Storj, from July 2018 to March 2022. In 2021, they worked as an Expert Advisor at SBI, The Growth Advisory.

Earlier in their career, Bryan held the position of Director of Strategic Business Development at Vivint Smart Home from May 2017 to September 2018. Before that, they worked at The Boston Consulting Group, where they served as a Project Leader from July 2016 to May 2017 and as a Recruiting Director for Advanced Degree Consultants from March 2016 to February 2017. Bryan also worked as a Consultant at The Boston Consulting Group from July 2014 to June 2016.

Bryan's work experience also includes roles at Northwestern University, where they worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant from September 2009 to September 2010, and Brigham Young University, where they served as an Undergraduate Researcher and Teaching Assistant from January 2006 to August 2009. At Brigham Young University, they contributed to research on laser-induced surface modification and alternative materials for DVDs, leading to the formation of a data storage start-up company.

Bryan Mangelson earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Brigham Young University in 2009. Bryan then went on to pursue a PhD in Materials Chemistry with an emphasis in Nanotechnology at Northwestern University from 2009 to 2014. In 2012, they also completed the Management for Scientists and Engineers Certificate Program at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
