Dan Greenfield

Dan Greenfield is a seasoned technology executive currently serving as the VP of Engineering at Storj since October 2024, focusing on the development of advanced storage software for various demanding workloads. Prior to this role, Dan co-founded and held the positions of CEO and CTO at cunoFS, which developed high-performance, cost-effective POSIX-compatible file systems, and at PetaGene, known for its software solutions that manage large genomic data volumes. Earlier career milestones include founding Storleap, where an advanced storage platform was created, and serving as a team lead and engineer in ASIC design at iReady Corporation and Intensys. Dan holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Cambridge and a Master’s degree in Bioinformatics from UNSW.
