John Gleeson

John Gleeson is currently the COO at Storj. Prior to that, they were the Collaboration Program Director at Compuware from January 2009 to August 2012. In that role, they developed and implemented strategy for rationalizing collaboration applications across the enterprise, driving standardization and increasing adoption. John also managed Sales Operations applications, including implementing an enterprise social collaboration platform (Covisint), deploying a sales enablement platform (Savo), and managing a CRM application (Salesforce.com) through two acquisitions and the reimplementation of the forecast solution.

Some notable accomplishments during their time at Compuware include leading a project to redefine how the business leveraged Salesforce.com to manage forecasting across business units, designing and managing the implementation of a solution to present a unified forecast in the Salesforce.com Forecast Module across five different business units, each using a different forecast methodology; managing Salesforce.com outsource development firm to deliver programmatic changes and dashboard/report development; managing organizational training team to produce training materials and plan; conducting group and 1:1 training for senior management; deploying a sales enablement system to 5 business units, including 800+ channel partners; sunsetting an existing SharePoint solution and collection of network shares to SaaS solution; initiating and leading a business intelligence data warehouse project for sales operations; producing trend analysis for key sales metrics for APM business unit; creating cross-business unit analysis for global strategic accounts group; and implementing a sales rep performance management program.

In their role as Collaboration Program Director, John also led a team to launch a social enterprise and collaboration solution to replace an aging employee intranet. The solution was deployed in 2 months to connect 5,500 employees in 26 global offices. John also managed a project to consolidate content and business processes from end-of-life systems to the new platform.

John Gleeson graduated from the University of Michigan with a BA in English and Psychology. John then went on to Wayne State University Law School to earn their JD in Law.

They work with Paul Ford - Chief Marketing Officer, Natalie Tunkara - HR & Talent Specialist, and John Quinn - Founder & Chief Revenue Officer. Their manager is Ben Golub, CEO.
