Nora Lawrence

Nora Lawrence is an experienced art professional currently serving as the Artistic Director and Chief Curator at Storm King Art Center since 2011, following roles as Senior Curator, Curator, and Associate Curator within the same organization. Prior experience includes instructing at the School of Visual Arts from 2010 to 2012 and serving as a Curatorial Assistant at The Museum of Modern Art from 2005 to 2011. Nora Lawrence holds a Master of Philosophy in Art History from The Graduate Center, City University of New York, obtained between 2006 and 2013, an MA in Art History from the University of Southern California (2002-2004), and a BA in Art History from Pomona College (1997-2001). Additionally, Nora Lawrence graduated from Hunter College High School.
