Peter Clark

Peter Clark has a diverse professional background, currently serving as a Park Ranger for New York State Parks, Recreation & Historic Preservation since May 2024. Prior to this role, Peter worked as a Wire Guard for Storm Services LLC starting in December 2021, providing safety during severe weather events. Experience also includes serving as a Ground Operations Specialist for the Rochester Red Wings from March 2022 to April 2024 and as an Inspired Guide at REI from July 2017 to October 2021, where outdoor adventure and stewardship were emphasized. Peter's career began in law enforcement, retiring as a Deputy Sheriff from Monroe County Sheriff after over two decades of service from July 1994 to February 2016. Peter holds a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from the State University of New York Cortland, earned between 1988 and 1992, and attended McQuaid Jesuit from 1983 to 1988.
