Mikinori Furuya

Chief Representative, Japan at StorMagic

Mikinori Furuya has extensive work experience in various managerial roles within the technology industry. Mikinori began their career at Digital Equipment Corporation in 1988 as a Senior Manager and later joined Sun Microsystems as the Director of the Storage Business Division. In 2001, they worked at Compaq Computer (Japan) and Compaq Computer K.K. as Director and then Director and GM of the Enterprise Storage Group. From 2002 to 2005, Furuya held multiple positions at Hewlett-Packard Japan Ltd., including VP&GM of Enterprise Marketing & Solutions and VP&GM of Network Storage Solutions. Mikinori then became the Managing Director of EMC Corporation and EMC Japan K.K. from 2005 to 2008. In 2009, Furuya founded F&I Cube Inc., where they served as the President and CEO, providing strategic consulting services. Mikinori later joined StorMagic in 2010 as the Chief Representative of Japan and most recently worked at Attunity as the Country Manager starting in 2012.

Mikinori Furuya obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Waseda University, where they studied Science and Technology, from 1973 to 1977.
