Richard Kinkead-Weekes

Richard Kinkead-Weekes is an experienced educator and sports coordinator with a focus on physical education and coaching. Currently serving as the Sports Coordinator at Bergvliet Primary School since January 2024, Richard has also been involved with WP Rugby as a referee since 2015. Richard has held roles such as a Microsoft Innovative Educator since May 2020 and a Physical Education Specialist at The Grove Primary School from January to December 2023. Previous positions include Assistant at Somerset House Preparatory School Incorporated Association, where Richard supported senior primary productions and founded the Cricket@House academy to enhance player training, as well as various coaching and educational roles at Somerset House Preparatory School and Fish Hoek Primary School. Richard holds a Bachelor's degree in Education from the University of South Africa, completed between 2004 and 2010.
