Dr. Thilo Dückert

Dr. Thilo Dückert has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. In their most recent role as Vice President Fleet Performance Management at StormGeo, they headed a global unit of 15 ship performance specialists, leading their efforts in developing digital tools for shipping companies to optimize operations and reduce fuel consumption. Prior to that, they worked at DNV GL as a Product Manager, where they played a key role in the development of fleet performance management and environmental compliance tools. Dr. Thilo also served as a Project Manager for corporate development at Germanischer Lloyd and as a Project Manager at McKinsey & Company. Dr. Dückert's extensive experience in product management and project management has contributed to their expertise in the maritime and shipping industry.

Dr. Thilo Dückert began their education at Technische Universität Darmstadt, where they pursued a bachelor's degree in Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen, which they completed in 2002. Dr. Thilo then shifted their focus to strategic management and went on to earn a PhD in this field from Technische Universität Chemnitz in 2008. Additionally, Dr. Dückert briefly studied business administration at Worcester Polytechnic Institute from 1999 to 2000.
