Robert Haldorsen

Robert Haldorsen has a comprehensive work experience spanning over several decades. Robert currently works at StormGeo as a Cyber Security Engineer since 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Sorasec from 2021 to 2023, where they served as a Sr. Presales Specialist Security. In this role, they supported and led projects related to MDM, acted as a technical lead for all endpoint solutions, updated and managed the SOC environment, and created and evaluated security policies. Before Sorasec, Robert worked at Pedab Norge from 2011 to 2021. Robert held the position of Sr. Presales Specialist Security, where they assisted clients/partners with Mobility challenges, worked with vendors and partners as a presale specialist, and provided sales support and technical presentations on various Symantec products.

Prior to Pedab Norge, Robert worked at IDG Communications Norge AS as an IT Sjef from 2003 to 2008, where they were responsible for IT procurement, budgeting, and investments. Robert also handled IT strategies, including the automation of digital newspaper/magazine production. Before that, they worked at Milanex AS from 1998 to 2003, serving as an Administrasjons/IT Ansvarlig. In this role, they were involved in customer service, accounting, invoicing, and server installation, maintenance, and updating.

Robert's earlier work experience includes roles at IntraCon AS and WinHelp AS as an IT-Konsulent, and at IDG Communications Norge AS and PC Computing in various IT-related positions. Overall, Robert Haldorsen has a breadth of experience in cybersecurity, presales, IT management, and customer support, making him a well-rounded professional.

Robert Haldorsen attended Oslo Handelsgymnasium from 1988 to 1991, where they studied Allmenfag - Økonomi. Robert does not hold a specific degree from this institution. In terms of additional certifications, Robert has obtained various certifications over the years. Some of these include IBM QRadar SIEM Foundation from IBM in July 2022, MaaS360 Administrator from IBM in February 2020, Symantec Certified Specialist (SCS) – Symantec™ Blue Coat ProxySG 6.6 from Symantec in August 2019, and many others from different institutions such as IBM and Symantec.
