Simon Yu is the CEO and Co-Founder of StormX. Simon was previously the CEO & Co-Founder of Bomba Fusion LLC from November 2014 to June 2020. Simon is known for being the founder of Seattle's first and best Korean Mexican Fusion food truck. Simon started Bomba Fusion with an initial $100 loan from their dad at just 19 years old. The food truck quickly became one of the most popular in Seattle.

During their time at Bomba Fusion, Simon partnered up with eight third party vendors to cater daily lunch deliveries to 100+ companies in Seattle, including: Amazon, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, University of Washington, Nordstrom, Starbucks, Zulily, Moz, law firms, marketing firms, architecture firms, and more. Simon also drove gross margins up 400% YoY between year 1 and 2. Simon was able to optimize efficiency and reduce food waste by analyzing data through Square analytics. Simon also monitored item sales to drive sales across their three sources of operations.

Simon managed an amazing team of 9 employees who helped the business grow each day and provided customers with amazing food and service. Simon's personal story as a founder was featured on the UW Daily. Simon continues to be a successful entrepreneur with a passion for food and helping others.

Simon Yu is a blockchain entrepreneur who has participated in the Berkeley Blockchain Xcelerator program at the University of California, Berkeley. Simon holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from the University of Washington - Michael G. Foster School of Business with a focus in finance.
