Deb Thurmond

Deb Thurmond is an experienced construction professional with a strong background in project management and engineering. Currently serving as an Assistant Project Manager and Project Engineer at Story Construction since June 2012, Deb has worked on various significant projects, including the Danfoss Application Development Center Test Track and the United Suppliers Office Building. Previous experience includes roles at Boger Construction Co., Inc., specializing in high-end residential restoration, and Casali Group, where budget management and scheduling were key responsibilities. Deb co-founded Square Trade Contracting, focusing on residential remodels, and has held carpentry positions at several companies, including Sovick Design Builders and Weitzer Contracting. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Art History from The University of Memphis and a Master's in Construction Management from Colorado State University, emphasizing sustainable building practices. Additionally, Deb completed OSHA 30-hour Construction Safety Training in October 2020.
