Tom Stanis

Tom Stanis is currently the CEO at Story Health. Prior to that, they were a Co-Founder and Head of Software at Verily Life Sciences from November 2013 to February 2020. While at Verily, they led the development of a medical software platform that supports collection, organization, and activation of healthcare data across medical devices, clinical studies and care delivery. Tom also grew the software engineering, data science, and user experience teams from 30 to 300+. Before Verily, Stanis worked as a Principal Engineer at Google Life Sciences from February 2005 to August 2015. Prior to Google, they were a Lead Software Engineer at Electronic Arts from February 2000 to December 2004 working on the Medal of Honor Franchise. Tom Stanis' career started as a Software Engineer at Hypercosm, Inc. from February 1999 to February 2000.

Tom Stanis has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a degree from PEA.
