Story Pirates
Jack Mitchell is an accomplished music composer with a diverse portfolio in children's media, podcasts, and theatrical productions. Currently, Jack composes original scores and songs for the first-ever Dr. Seuss podcast, "The Cat in the Hat Cast," and contributes to various projects including "The Story Pirates Podcast," downloaded over 90 million times. Jack's work also includes composing music for "The Plate Show" for WNET/PRX and an upcoming Kids and Family Trivia Podcast for Realm/Netflix titled "Popcorn Brainstorm." Notable past experiences include live scoring for Pinna Audio and composing for Warner Bros. Animation's first Looney Tunes podcast series. Education includes a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from Northwestern University.

Dually based in New York and Los Angeles, we are best known for the Idea Storm Program, a master-class writing workshop that brings teaching concepts to life, followed by a musical sketch comedy show featuring stories by students and performed by professional artists. Our acclaimed programs and professional development services for teachers are in place at over 250 schools from coast to coast.
