Jon Bardin

Jon Bardin is the current head of Documentary & Nonfiction at Story Syndicate. Prior to this, they worked as Vice President, Documentaries & Specials for Discovery Channel from January 2015 to February 2019. Bardin has also worked as a science reporter for the Los Angeles Times, a PhD student in neuroscience at Weill Cornell Medical College, and an editorial assistant and freelance writer for Seed Media Group and Columbia University Center for Digital Research and Scholarship, respectively.

Jon Bardin obtained their PhD in Neuroscience from Cornell University. Jon also has a MS in Design and Environmental Analysis from Cornell University and a Bachelor's degree in Visual and Environmental Studies from Harvard University.

Jon Bardin reports to Liz Garbus, Co—Founder. They are on a team with Brian Douglass - Head of Post Production & Design Syndicate, Kate Barry - EVP, Current/Executive Producer, and Shane Tilston - VP, Production.
