Co-Founder & CEO at Storybook App

Francisco Cornejo has a diverse work experience in various roles and positions. Francisco is currently the Co-Founder & CEO of Storybook App, an app that combines infant massage, bedtime stories, and music to help children relax and sleep better. Francisco started this role in November 2019.

Prior to Storybook App, Francisco was the Co-Founder & CEO of Familify, starting in April 2018.

Before that, they founded and served as the Director of Camello Viral Marketing, a company that was acquired. Francisco held this position from March 2017 to December 2020.

Francisco also worked as the Communications Manager at Equality Marketing from June 2015 to January 2017, where they were responsible for community management, social media strategy, and the development of a new corporate image and website.

Francisco served as the Head of Growth at ZiRO Consulting 2.0 from March 2015 to April 2016.

Prior to that, Francisco was the Chief Marketing Officer at Honda Ecuador from November 2009 to February 2015. In this role, they were responsible for planning, designing, and implementing the company's strategic marketing plan, as well as directing market research and managing the digital strategy.

Francisco also has experience as a Lecturer and Thesis Advisor at Universidad de Cuenca from June 2013 to May 2014.

Earlier in their career, they co-founded Gabbia Live Disco and La Preli Shots, both of which were subsequently acquired. Francisco held these co-founder roles from January 2009 to February 2012 and from December 2007 to March 2010, respectively.

Francisco Cornejo has a diverse educational background. In 2005, they began their undergraduate studies at Universidad Panamericana de Cuenca, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Management with a focus on Sales and Marketing in 2011.

After working for a few years, Francisco pursued further education and enrolled at RMIT University. Francisco completed a Master's Degree program from 2015 to 2017, specializing in PR, Communication, and Digital Marketing.

In 2020, Francisco attended Founder School at Y Combinator, an educational program for aspiring entrepreneurs.

In 2022, they briefly participated in the LBAN-SLEI Scaling Program at Stanford University Graduate School of Business.

Additionally, Francisco obtained a certification in Advanced Growth Strategy from Growth Academy in May 2023.
