Laura Sáenz

Laura S. possesses extensive experience in the extraction and operations fields, primarily within the cannabis industry. At Rhize, Laura served as an Extraction Specialist/Consultant from March 2022 to May 2023. Prior to this, Laura worked at Tweed Inc., progressing through several roles including Extraction Technician, Extraction Supervisor, and Extraction Manager, where responsibilities included managing the Oil Extraction department and implementing process improvements. Earlier career highlights include serving as a Certifying Scientist and Forensic Technologist at Dynacare, ensuring accuracy in laboratory reporting and achieving high sample throughput. Laura holds dual degrees from Carleton University: a Bachelor of Science Honours in Integrated Science with a specialization in Forensic Science and a Bachelor of Arts Honours in Criminology and Criminal Justice with a specialization in Psychology.
