James Yamin

James Yamin is an experienced AI Content Specialist at StoryFile since August 2022, focusing on developing and localizing compelling content in both Arabic and English for AI applications. Previously, James contributed as a Localization Producer at Wave Sports + Entertainment, where the Arabic version of the FTBL Show was successfully launched. Additional roles include Showrunner at Phony Texts, where the management of social media localization workflows was overseen, and Localization Producer at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, working on film research projects. James has also served as a Translator / Subtitle Editor at SDI Media, translating Arabic subtitles for various media, and as a Localization Producer for the award-winning documentary "This Is Home: A Refugee Story." Early career experiences include translating and editing for Jigsaw Productions on the Emmy-nominated documentary series "Parched." Academic qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from the University of Aleppo and a certificate in Cinematography and Film Production from Glendale Community College.
