Martin Ng

Martin Ng has a diverse work experience, spanning over a decade. Martin most recently worked as the Managing Director, Asia at StoryIQ, a position they have held since November 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Lead Trainer / Asia Regional Manager at StoryIQ from July 2019 to November 2022.

In 2019, Martin worked as an Adjunct Lecturer at SIMGE (SIM Global Education), where they taught graduate-level courses in Business Analytics and served as a project supervisor to FYP students.

Before that, they co-founded Marvin's Academy Pte Ltd in 2018, where they conducted life skills-focused workshops and training with a focus on character building, leadership, and Education and Career Guidance. Martin also provided training on computational thinking and entrepreneurial mindsets.

In the same year, Martin worked as an Adjunct Lecturer at Singapore Polytechnic, teaching business IT modules including Business Analytics, Principles of New Media Marketing, Digital Marketing Fundamentals, and more. Martin had previously lectured on Statistics for Business, Marketing Intelligence and Research, among others.

Martin's experience also includes working as an Instructor in Data Analytics at General Assembly from August 2018 to July 2019 and as the Director of Training at Clayops Pte Ltd from May 2018 to July 2019.

From 2016 to 2018, Martin served as the Head of Good Business at the Singapore International Foundation. Prior to that, they worked at Singapore Polytechnic as a Senior Lecturer and Section Manager from February 2009 to August 2016.

Martin began their career at Radiance Communications as an Account Manager and later worked as an International Relations Manager at the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore in 2007 and 2008, respectively.

Martin Ng pursued their education in a chronological and progressively manner. Firstly, they attended the National University of Singapore from 2000 to 2004, where they earned a Bachelor's degree (Hons) in Computing with a specialization in Information Systems. Martin then enrolled in the Alliance Manchester Business School from 2010 to 2013, where they completed their Master's degree in Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a focus on Business Administration.

Furthermore, Martin Ng also obtained an additional certification, the Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance, from the Institute for Adult Learning Singapore in May 2021.
