JT English serves as the Lead Pastor at Storyline Church since April 2020. Prior to this role, JT held various positions at The Village Church, including Pastor of The Village Church Institute from October 2014 to October 2024. Roles at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary included Executive Assistant to the President, Director of Theological Research, and Assistant to the Director for Research Doctoral Studies from April 2012 to October 2014. JT also served as Student Ministry Teaching Pastor and Pastoral Assistant at Fellowship Bible Church Dallas from 2009 to 2011, and worked as a Sales Coordinator at National CineMedia from August 2007 to May 2008. Educational qualifications include a PhD Candidate in Systematic Theology and Church History from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, a ThM in Historical Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary, and a BA in Communications from Colorado State University.
