Cesar Osaka

Cesar Osaka's work experience begins with their current position at Storytel as an Engineering Manager, which they obtained in December 2021. Prior to this role, they served as the Interim Tech Manager from June 2021 to November 2021, and as a Project Leader from June 2020 to June 2021. Cesar started their career at Storytel as an Embedded Software Engineer from January 2019 to June 2020.

Before joining Storytel, Cesar worked at LG Electronics as a Senior BSP Engineer from January 2013 to January 2019. In this role, they were responsible for developing low-level software for Android OS and worked on tasks such as BSP team development and Linux Kernel bring-up.

Prior to their time at LG Electronics, Cesar worked for MSX International / Mercedes-Benz do Brasil as a Product Engineer from May 2012 to December 2012. Their responsibilities included wiring harness and schematic maintenance for Mercedes-Benz trucks, as well as interface and evaluation of electronic parts suppliers. Cesar also developed a tool to automate cable sizing calculation, resulting in significant time savings.

Cesar began their career at SMS Tecnologia Eletronica Ltda. where they held multiple firmware engineering roles from June 2005 to May 2012. These roles involved developing low energy home automation devices, firmware development for UPS products, and embedded C programming for microcontrollers. Cesar also had responsibilities in product architecture, hardware component selection, and project design and development. Cesar possesses expertise in C and Assembly languages for various microcontrollers.

Cesar Osaka has a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering from FEI - Faculdade de Engenharia Industrial, which they obtained from 2006 to 2011. Prior to that, from 2004 to 2005, they attended ETE Jorge Street, where they studied Electronics Technician. Before that, from 2003 to 2004, they also attended ETE Jorge Street but pursued Mechatronics Technician. In terms of additional certifications, Cesar has completed various courses on LinkedIn, including "Overcome Overthinking" from January 2023, "Powerless to Powerful: Taking Control" from June 2020, "Scrum: Advanced" from January 2020, "Agile Product Owner Role: Foundations" from December 2019, "Scrum: The Basics" from December 2019, and "Agile Development Practices" from November 2019.
