Jorge Ramón Letosa

Jorge Ramón Letosa has a diverse work experience spanning different companies and roles. Jorge is currently employed as a Staff Data Engineer at Storytel since May 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Epidemic Sound from September 2021 to May 2023, where they held the positions of Platform Lead | Data Platform and Data Engineering Lead. Jorge also worked as a Software Developer at Epidemic Sound from December 2017 to June 2018.

Before their time at Epidemic Sound, Jorge worked at Wrapp from May 2016 to December 2017, where they served as a Team Lead and Backend Developer. At Wrapp, they were responsible for bank and partner integrations, data, and infrastructure. Additionally, they worked as a Backend Software Developer at Wrapp from August 2015 to May 2016. In this role, they contributed to the development and maintenance of the microservice-oriented backend infrastructure.

Jorge also has experience working at Ericsson as an MTAS C++ Software Developer from January 2015 to August 2015. Prior to that, they worked at Scati Labs as a Software Engineer from May 2013 to December 2014. Jorge'sresponsibilities at Scati Labs included designing and developing an SDK for client systems to communicate with video recorder servers.

At Dialcom Networks S.L., Jorge worked as a Software Engineer from November 2010 to May 2013. In this role, they designed and developed a cross-platform module integrated into a video conferencing application. Jorge also maintained and developed the iOS product line for Dialcom Networks.

Furthermore, they served as a Research Assistant at Aalto University School of Science and Technology in June and July 2010.

Jorge Ramón Letosa holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Computer Engineering, which they obtained from Universidad de Zaragoza from 2004 to 2010. In 2009 to 2010, they also pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Computer Science from Aalto University. In addition to their formal education, Jorge Ramón Letosa has obtained several certifications. In November 2020, they completed the Google Cloud Platform Big Data and Machine Learning Fundamentals course through Coursera. Jorge also completed the Modernizing Data Lakes and Data Warehouses with GCP course, also through Coursera, in the same month and year. In May 2020, they obtained certification for the Apache Beam | A Hands-On course to build Big data Pipelines from Udemy.
