Ann R. is a motivated and high-energy educator with a focus on business, finance, and marketing, currently serving as a Business, Finance, and Marketing Instructor and DECA Advisor at Stoughton Area School District since 2021. Ann has extensive experience in educational settings, previously holding positions at Wauwatosa School District and Wausau East High School, where roles included instructor, department chair, and DECA advisor. Prior to teaching, Ann gained valuable skills in sales management at Macy's and in communications and community relations at Globe University. Ann's career began in law enforcement with the Appleton Police Department, where responsibilities included investigative work and community liaison roles. With a Bachelor of Science in Marketing Education and a Master's in Organizational Leadership, Ann is dedicated to creating engaging learning environments and promoting student success.

Located in south central Wisconsin, the Stoughton Area School District is an award-winning school system that consistently posts a higher graduation rate than many Dane County schools and has garnered national recognition for its educational practices. We offer three elementary schools, one middle level school, one high school and a virtual school through a consortium of other area school districts. Our district encompasses the City of Stoughton and parts of the towns of Albion, Christiana, Cottage Grove, Deerfield, Dunkirk, Dunn, Pleasant Springs and Rutland in Dane County, as well as parts of the towns of Porter and Union in Rock County. At SASD, we are big enough to meet the needs of all students and small enough to personalize learning for all students.
