Shawn Pickens is a seasoned Managing Director with extensive experience in assisting mid-market to Fortune 100 companies and their legal counsel in investigations, quantification, and negotiation of settlements related to fraudulent activities and financial damages. Currently at Stout since October 2022, Shawn specializes in expert testimony in State and Federal courts for instances involving lost profits and fraud investigations. Previous roles include Managing Director and Director at The Claro Group, where Shawn also provided expert testimony, and Director at Quantum Partners, focusing on the recovery of losses from failed financial institutions. Additional experience includes serving as Special Advisor to the Board of Directors for the RIMS Houston Chapter, working as an Independent Consultant in forensic accounting, and leading Deloitte's insurance claims consulting practice. Shawn holds a BSBA and MBA in Accounting from Drake University, along with an early education from Culver Academies.
