Joseph Ellis MA, CAS, CPFS, RCPF (Army) serves as a BHA Peer Support Steering Committee Member for the Colorado Behavioral Health Administration since July 2023, contributing to initiatives aimed at enhancing awareness and education in peer support and recovery coaching. Currently supervising the Forensic Peer Navigator Team for the City and County of Denver while also working as an Addictions Counselor and Group Facilitator at Stout Street Foundation since April 2018. Joseph has held multiple roles supporting veterans and mentoring in various capacities within the Colorado Judicial Branch and State of Colorado and has gained extensive experience in group facilitation and vocational training. Joseph's educational background includes a Master’s Degree in Design and Applied Arts and certifications in Addictions Counseling and Peer Recovery Coaching.
