Kane Hughes has extensive experience in both the telecommunications and emergency management sectors. Since September 2012, Kane has served as the WHS Manager and Electrician at Stowe Australia, where responsibilities include telecommunication systems, lighting control, subcontractor management, and emergency systems. In addition, since September 2017, Kane has been the State Duty Operations Officer at Surf Life Saving NSW, overseeing daily operations of the State Operation Centre, including the Coastal Radio Network and Surf Emergency Response System. Kane holds multiple qualifications, including a Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety from Fire Safety Australia, an Advanced Diploma of Emergency Management from ACIM Solutions, and a Diploma in Electrical Engineering from St George Tafe, among others, including a recent Diploma in Business and Leadership from Leadership Management Australia.
