Richard R. Gnat

Richard R. Gnat, AIA, is a seasoned architectural professional currently serving as Senior Technical Architect and QC Director at STR Partners LLC, an acclaimed firm focused on K-12 school design in northeastern Illinois. With a diverse career spanning several prestigious firms, including AS+GG and Perkins+Will, Richard has played key roles in high-profile projects such as the Kazakhstan World Expo and Central Park Tower in New York City. In academia, Richard has held professorships at both the University of Nevada Las Vegas and Kansas State University, imparting knowledge in architectural design and practice management. Richard holds a Master of Architecture degree from Cornell University and dual undergraduate degrees in Architecture and Environmental Design from Ball State University.
